The College is now looking to appoint a part-time Library Assistant to work in the Library at the College’s Gunnersbury Park Campus. This is a part-time position for 21.6 hours per week, preferably to be worked over five days per week.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing front-line library services and supervising students and staff using the library and its facilities on a daily basis. This includes helping with printing and photocopying, answering routine queries in person, on the phone and via email, issuing and checking in books, shelving and tidying resources and supporting students with studying and information skills.
The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills and some experience working with young people. They will have a passion for learning and will enjoy sharing this enthusiasm with others. Effective IT and administrative skills are also essential.
